Overview
Vectrascope ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at vectrascope.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Vectrascope, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Account information. If you register for an account, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized information about how visitors use the site — pages visited, time on page, referring URLs, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Cookies. We use cookies to keep you signed in between sessions (via a secure JWT token stored in your browser's local storage) and to support analytics and advertising functionality described below.
Advertising — Google AdSense
Vectrascope uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
For more information on how Google uses data when you use our site, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with Vectrascope. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming here. We use this information to improve our content and site experience.
Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit, not your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
